Our accommodation in Gozo
A large farmhouse style property situated on the edge of the vibrant and pretty village called Qala (pronounced “Ala”). Qala is one of the nearest villages to be reached from the port, Mgarr, reducing your transfer time. In fact, Qala offers some stunning views over Mgarr, Comino and Malta. The accommodation is comfortable and homely; staying here is like home from home with the hosts exuding warmth welcoming you into their home.
There is a comfortable lounge area with an open fire making it really cosy during the chilly evenings in winter. A tv room with a well stocked library of DVD's is situated in the entrance foyer. The treatment room is comfortable and relaxing and an unexpected bonus for the bed and breakfast traveller. With soft music and glowing candles, exquisite therapies and high quality products, this area offers an oasis of calmness and serenity. There are four guest rooms, three are comfortably equipped with double beds and spacious wardrobes. All three double rooms have a small balcony overlooking the pool, the top bedroom has its own, private balcony. 3 rooms are en-suite two with a shower, one with a bath. Our "budget" room is on the ground floor, is a twin bedded room and has its own, private bathroom with a bath, but it is not en-suite to the room. All our guest rooms have optional A/C.
In the atrium, under the grand stairway, you will find the hottub and an area where we hold yoga and pilates classes on a regular basis (Subject to availability)
The pretty, enclosed, and private garden has a bar-b-que area and swimming pool with plenty of loungers, chairs and tables for quiet reading and sunbathing. You will find tea and coffee making facilities in your room and a fridge on your landing for your own, personal use. The village of Qala has a wealth of facilities in the form of bars, restaurants (even a Chinese restaurant) supermarkets, church, post office, parks, and gardens.
One of Gozo’s few beaches at Hondoq, is a 5 minute drive from the village.
